With reference to your telegram of 15th May. I have

grounds for believing that the Texas Oil Co. may raise object-

ions to Messrs. Sanders Rehdere making an arrangement with

another firm in place of Messrs. Reiss for carrying on joint

agency and it is not unlikely that if an agreement is not come to between Messrs. Reiss and Sanders the agency may be given to

an American firm. Reise & Co. are doing all in their power

to come to an agreement with Sanders.
